Thrifty (Category J)

This 4×2 car offers you all the comfort and space to discover Southern Africa in your own way! If you are looking for a reliable car where you do not have to worry about switching and you want to drive on both paved and unpaved roads, we recommend that you choose category J. The car has a high clearance, lots of luggage space and an automatic gearbox.

The car is suitable for the more challenging terrains, if you prefer to go for the rougher off road roads then we recommend you to look at our selection of 4×4 vehicles. These are more suitable for neighbouring countries such as Mozambique and Lesotho, game drives and the Wild Coast.

This type of car is a Toyota Fortuner 3.0 D-4D AT 4×2 automatic or equivalent.

You can pick up your rental car after arrival at the airport or you can have it delivered to your accommodation.

All cars supplied by Thrifty are new (maximum 1 year old) and have a low mileage (maximum 40,000 to 50,000 km). Both are based on the car category and can sometimes differ slightly.
