General information

In seven days you will discover the relatively unknown Wild Coast. This area is often incorrectly skipped during a trip. A pity, because this is really a beautiful, still untouched area with a ‘wild’ coastline. You will find empty beaches, lagoons, bays and nice little coastal towns.

This is also ‘home’ for the Xhosa. When you drive through this area, you will see the hills dotted with their rondavels. Enjoy the peace, freedom and the vast landscape here!

This tour is very suitable as an extension to a journey along the Garden Route, for example the 7 day comfortable car trip or the 15 day comfortable trip through the nature

Day 1: Port Elizabeth - Port Alfred -

After arrival at Port Elizabeth airport, you will pick up your rental car (category M, Europcar or similar) .Take the N2 towards Colchester and then the R72 to Kenton-on-Sea and finally Port Alfred.

Port Alfred is a coastal town with the charm and charisma of an English fishing village and is best known for its beautiful marina, canals and Alfred Waterfront where you can shop. But you will also find vast beaches here, very suitable for practicing various water sports or for relaxing and watching how others practice these sports.

You will stay here one night at the Royal St. Andrews Hotel.
