General information

This trip will introduce you to a part of the Western Cape province. The distances you drive are small and therefore this trip has a relaxed character. Culture and history are discussed in various historic villages such as Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Tulbagh. You visit beautiful and relaxing nature reserves, wine-producing regions, but also the only place in the world where rooibos tea is grown. You can go hiking and look for rock paintings in the fascinating Cederberg and get some fresh air on the West Coast on the beaches of small fishing villages. A visit to a Big Five safari park is also included in this trip and you end up in bustling Cape Town.

Let your tour be a part of the Western Cape

Stellenbosch is located in the middle of the Cape Winelands and in the summer you can see the grape bunches hanging here and the vineyards are green in color. If you have a bad weather day in the winter, there are also several museums to visit and of course you can taste delicious wines at one of the many estates. In every season, a visit to Uncle Samie’s shop and strolling through the historic city center of Stellenbosch is fun. You will see beautiful houses in Cape Holland style and the streets are lined with oak trees. There are cozy terraces and many different restaurants in the center.

Around Stellenbosch you can also find a number of nature reserves where you can walk. Visit for example the Jonkershoek nature reserve for a nice walk through the woods.

You stay one night at Stellenbosch Hotel based on bed and breakfast. This 3-star hotel is located in the center, so you can explore the village on foot from here or visit a restaurant.
