Thatchwood overlooks the 6th fairway of the St Francis golf course and is set at the entrance to the new Jack Nicklaus signature Golf course. As a owner run Guesthouse, our guests are always looked after in a personal way.This tranquil lodge with its amazing service, and home from home atmosphere would like to invite you to experience our upgraded new look and great hospitality. The beautifully decorated bedrooms offer many comforts including telephone and TV, most have a private garden or patio. Stroll down the fairways to the unspoiled white beaches and watch dolphins and whales, or enjoy a sunset cruise on the canals. Or just relax in the landscaped garden near the swimming pool and enjoy the birds and a glass of wine. So it is a golfers heaven, also non golfers will enjoy St Francis Bay, we are at the beginning of the Garden Route. Description of surroundings:
St Francis bay is a beautiful village with unique architecture (all white houses with black roofs), a 10 km canal system and a working harbor that is the base for calamari boats as well as many pleasure boats. Also one of the oldest light houses and beautiful beaches. There are many activities for one to do, hikes, fishing, whale watching, golf and many other sports like surfing, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches. St Francis is also centrally located from many game parks like Shamwari, Addo, Kariega, Pumba and many others.
