Maun’s most friendly campsite is set in a riverine forest on the banks of the Thamalakane river. The drive in sites have power points for those who require them. We have recently built a new 8 bed dorm right on the edge of the river with a great view out over the old bridge. The standard furnished tents all have comfortable beds and are near the ablutions. We have five en-suite (with shower & toilet) tents with their own private verandas overlooking the water.

We are building new river front en suite tents at Maun Rest Camp. We are also putting a cash bar and restaurant at MRC, so all will be the same level of service at Backpackers.
