Needles lodge is a comfortable and intimate 4-star lodge with 6 bedrooms. 4 rooms have a king size bed and 2 rooms have 2 single beds. All rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans. The bathrooms and suite have a bath and separate showers. The rooms are thatched and have sliding doors that open onto a wooden deck that opens onto a large terrace. All rooms have a view of the garden where wild (not dangerous) animals move freely. The central lounge has comfortable armchairs and sofas where you can relax. There are all kinds of books about Africa and wildlife available for perusal. Here you can drink a nice glass of wine with other guests and chat about what you have experienced and perhaps receive nice tips. In the lounge there is also a satellite TV. One of the nicest places is the wooden deck where you can sit comfortably and enjoy nature and the animals around you. There is a huge Marula tree and there is a cooling swimming pool in the garden. If the weather is good, breakfast will be served on the outside deck. If you like good food you are at the right place in Needles lodge. A gourmet 4-course servant is served which is included in the room price per person per night. The central living area and entertainment area has relaxing chairs and couches to read one of our many books on Africa and it’s wildlife or chat over a good glass of wine with friends. The entertainment area is also equipped with satteliteTV . Relax and enjoy the views from the main deck and patio which surround the trunk of a giant Marula tree or cool of in the pool. If you appreciate good food then Needles is the place to come. A gourmet 4 course dinner is included in our nightly accommodation price.

Located in the bush of the Marloth park, Needles lodge will really give you the Out of Africa feeling! The Marloth park borders the Kruger Park. Needles lodge is centrally located in the heart of the Marloth park between Malelane and the Crocodile bridge gate of the Kruger Park. The Crocodile river is a 10-minute walk away, where you can spot the Big Five who come here to drink or hunt. The garden of the lodge is regularly visited by animals such as giraffe, warthog, zebra, kudu, mongose, monkeys, baboons, and wildebeest. The animals are used to the residents of Needles lodge and it is therefore a great opportunity for you to come face to face with one or more of the above animals.
Positioned in the heart of Marloth Park Private Residential Game Reserve Bordering the Kruger National Park between Malelane and Crocodile Bridge entrance. Only a 10 minute walk from the crocodile river where one can spot the big five coming down to the river to drink or catch prey! Daily visits of wild animals like giraffe, warthog, zebra, kudu, mongose, monkeys, baboons and wildebeest are a common occurance. Close interaction with wild animals is a real treat and most guests are rewarded with eye to eye contact!
