Lagoon Lookout Bed and Breakfast, with its stunningly beautiful view of the magical Lagoon, Langebaan village and the busy working harbours at Saldanha and surrounds.  The house fronts onto the huge triangular undeveloped “farm” in the middle of the town that still teems with wild flowers, birds and wildlife that make the West Coast so special.  Look out for the family of buck, dassies, tortoises etc while enjoying your breakfast. Watch the sun rising over the Country Estate and Golf course and setting behind Postberg – part of the West Coast National Park – Jutten and Schaapen islands.  With boating, shipping, Defence Force activities and leisure water sport on the lagoon our vista is forever changing. The Langebaan Yacht Club, Club Mykonos resort and small boat harbour, the iron ore and oil tanker harbour, Saldanha Bay harbour and military bases are dotted around the lagoon. In the evenings there is a panoramic view of the lights in the town and surrounding area.  We are conveniently close proximity to the main beach and all the town has to offer, yet provide a haven from the town’s hustle and bustle. The added attractions of the West Coast National Park, a RAMSAR site and IBA is the country’s biggest wetland on the country’s biggest natural harbour, is five minutes away.  The park offers a variety of bird hides, saltwater and fynbos at Seeberg, the Geelbek wetlands, salt marshes and Saltpans and Abrahamskraal a fresh water hole. Postberg peninsular is only open during the flowering season from August to September.
