La Galiniere Guest Cottages are located on a boutique vineyard close to the heart of Franschhoek with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards. The two 3-star, AA Highly-Recommended, self-catering cottages provide clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation suitable for an overnight or longer stay. Pinotage Cottage comprises two bedrooms (with king or twin beds), shower room, and living/dining room (2 sofas, dining table and chairs, and fireplace), with kitchenette. Merlot Cottage comprises two bedrooms (king or twin beds in each), living room (with 2 sofas, dining table and chairs, and fireplace), bathroom (shower over bath) and kitchen. Each cottage has a well-equipped kitchen with high quality appliances (microwave oven, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, electric oven and gas hob), cutlery, crockery and range of utensils. Tea/coffee/sugar/milk, TV with DSTV, linen and towels, complimentary toiletries, universal plug adapters, hair dryers, mosquito repellents, fan heaters and cooling fans are provided as standard. The farm has a swimming pool and braai area that guests are welcome to use. The farm provides secure off-street parking. La Galiniere Guest Cottage is child-friendly and we are able to provide travel cots, high chairs, baby/child car seats, and kiddie DVDs upon request. Each booking also receives a complimentary bottle of our Cabernet Sauvignon wine made from grapes harvested on the farm. Babysitting, laundry and ironing services can be arranged in advance.

La Galiniere Guest Cottages is located just 1.5km from the centre of Franschhoek and is one of the closest vineyards to the town centre – walking takes just 15-20 minutes. We are also next door to the family-friendly and popular Village Grill Restaurant. With boutique shops, fine dining restaurants, some 40 wineries and museums, there is plenty to keep you occupied in Franschhoek. Surrounding the town, the mountains provide fantastic opportunities for nature lovers, walkers, horse riders and mountain bikers. Slightly further afield are Le Bonheur Crocodile Farm, Franschhoek Motor Museum and Butterfly World. Franschhoek and La Galiniere is the perfect base for exploring the Winelands and Cape Town.
