This is an unforgettable, luxurious and relaxing safari package at Victoria Falls River Lodge in the Zambezi National Park. Victoria Falls River Lodge is beautifully situated on the Zambezi River and surrounded by forests. At the lodge there is a bar, viewing deck, restaurant, swimming pool, spa and lounge. You can enjoy delicious meals while overlooking the river. At the lodge you will also find a shop where beautiful handmade products from local artists are sold to support the community. For your stay you can choose from a Luxury Tented Suite (also available as a Family Suite) and the Island Tree house Suites
Luxury Tented Suite
These luxury tents are made of wood, canvas, glass and reed and have a view over the Zambezi River and surrounding area and offer a lot of privacy. From your deck you can enjoy the surroundings, relax, read a book or cool off in your own plunge pool. These suites are equipped with a large bed, sitting area, bathroom with freestanding bath and shower, outdoor shower, coffee and tea making facilities, air conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer, safe, minibar and more. There are eight double luxury tents available (king size double bed or two separate beds possible) and there are five Luxury family tents where a maximum of three children, under 17 years old, can sleep together with the parents. This family tent has an extra ‘room’ for the children.
Island Treehouse Suites
As the name suggests, the four Island Treehouse Suites are located on an island and therefore only accessible by boat. The suites on Kandahar Island are right on the water and are surrounded by beautiful green trees and palms. Here you will find a large king-size bed,sitting are, bathroom with a free-standing bath and rain shower, private deck with plunge pool, coffee and tea facilities, air conditioning, hairdryer, safe, minibar and more. Minimum age for staying in these suites is 16 years.

You can be picked up from Victoria Falls Airport or Livingstone International Airport (shared transfer, possibly other guests present). You will be taken by the driver to the luxury Victoria Falls River Lodge This property is located in the Zambezi National Park and not far from the village Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe).
Meals and Afternoon Tea are served at the lodge and are of the highest quality. You can also enjoy delicious drinks in the bar.
Two (safari) activities per day are included during you stay. You can choose from a morning or afternoon game drive in the Zambezi National Park and a sunrise or sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River. A daily transfer from the property to the village of Victoria Falls also included. Departure time for this transfer is usually around 10 a.m. and a return around 3 p.m, For example you can use this transfer to visit the falls (entrance fees for your own account, USD 30 per person) or to buy some souvenirs at the market.
A minimum age of eight applies to the regular game drives If you are traveling with children under the age of eight, you can book a private game drive for free. Ask about this when booking. A minimum age of four years applies to the boat cruise.
The morning safari activities take place in the summer months from 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM and in the winter months from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM. The afternoon activities start at 4:30 pm in the summer and at 4:00 pm in the winter, these activities also last around 2.5 hours. Snacks and drinks are included during safaris. You are advised to wear clothing in natural colors during the safari and do not forget to protect yourself well against the sun.
