This half-day tour shows you the most famous places in the (inner) city. The guide will tell you a lot about the history as well as life today in Johannesburg.

Dagprogramma
Day program -

The tour starts with a nice view of the 267 meter high Telkom Tower so you can take pictures of the tower as you see on many postcards of Johannesburg. Then you go to the inspiring Constitution Hill and Court (if there is no session going on).Constitution Hill was the prison where political activists such as Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Ghandi were (temporarily) detained. On the way to Newtown you drive past the longest bridge in southern Africa: the Nelson Mandela Bridge. You can walk on the Jazz Walk of Fame on Mary Fitzgerald Square. The tour ends at Carlton Center which is also called ‘the top of Africa’. Here a lift takes you to the 50th floor, a fantastic view of the city awaits you!
You can make this tour in the morning or afternoon, the morning tour starts between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM and the afternoon tour between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM.
