General information
ORC Events offers a training in which the most common situations that the adventurous traveler may encounter are treated. An additional advantage is that you can already practice driving a car with the steering wheel on the right.
Before the training you will be asked to carefully study the vehicle you want to rent or has already cuddled through information on, for example, the internet so that you can ask specific questions during the course. The course covers basic techniques, vehicle control, different surfaces, the use of aids, driving over washboards, sand dunes ascending and descending, mudflats, correct tire pressure and the operation of high and low gearing. The expert instructor will first take you for an introduction tour of the terrain and then it’s your turn!
This is an intensive course where you normally work 1 on 1; you drive and the instructor sits next to you to coach. However, it is also possible to drive 2 students per car.
This course is given from Monday to Friday, you can choose the morning (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) or the afternoon (12 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
You will be welcomed with coffee / tea and cake and during the break you will receive a drink and a candy bar. At the end you will receive a drink, lunch and of course a certificate of participation. If you book the afternoon course, you will start with a lunch.
