After our excellent experiences from 2015 we again went to work with the South Africa specialist. This time, Yara Peters was our advisor / travel agent. He made a great piece of work out of it.
The absolute nice thing is that no effort is too much and the speed with which you get answers to your questions is unprecedented.
This time a simple journey for us.
Intended only National parks.
Because of the large distances here and there a stopover.
Route was, Johannesburg to Marakele NP then via Tzaneen to Kruger NPNa 5 days Kruger via Piet Retieff to Emphlosi NP After that the wetlands of St Lucia. Couple of days Balito and via Drakensbergen NP and Golden Gate NP back to Johannesburg.
BV Kruger driven 850 km.
All our overnight places were great.
Looked like Yara had picked them out personally.
Best view, most beautiful location. And certainly the stops in Tzaneen and Piet Retieff were great.
Elephant Coast B and B in Lucia was the end.
All in all a perfectly arranged and worthwhile trip.
