Your guide will pick you up at your accommodation in the Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl region to take you on a relaxing wine tour through the beautiful Cape Winelands. The guides have a great deal of knowledge of wines and also know the many different estates so that the route is determined based on your wishes and preferences.

Enjoy the beautiful mountains and green wine plantations and the variety of delicious South African wines, without worrying about alcohol controls. You will be brought back to your accommodation at the end of the excursion.
Delicious wines are produced in South Africa and when you visit the Western Cape province, a trip to the wine countries can hardly be missed. What could be nicer than visiting different wine estates for a (half) day, finding out more about the production of wine and tasting many different varieties.
Because the Cape Winelands are so popular for wine tasting, the police regularly conduct alcohol checks. Fines can be high and a prison sentence can even wait if you have drunk too much. To fully enjoy the variety of wines without worries, it is advisable to do a wine tour with guide (and driver). Your guide is trained at the Cape Wine Academy and can therefore give you a lot of interesting information and also knows the less commercial places. The group size is never more than 12 people.

Program -

For the day tour you will be picked up between 9:15 and 10:00 at your accommodation in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek or Paarl by your guide. Your guide will inform you about special interests and preferences and organize the day based on the wishes of the guests. You visit at least 3 and when time permits 4 wine estates. All wine tastings (usually 4-6 wines per estate) are included in the price, lunch is at your own expense. Your guide can advise you on a suitable place to have lunch, many wine farms also have a restaurant.

The half-day wine tour can take place in the morning or afternoon, in consultation with you it will be agreed at what time the guide will pick you up at your accommodation in the Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl region. You visit 2 or 3 wine farms near your residence, where you will taste 4-6 wines per estate. This half-day tour does not stop for lunch.
