Noordhoek is located on the west side of the Cape Peninsula in the Western Cape province. A quiet coastal town just below Cape Town with a rural feel. Beautifully situated at the foot of Chapman’s Peak and with its white expanses of beaches a wonderful vacation spot.
It is the land of the big birds like the Black Eagle, the Verreaux Eagle and the Fish Eagle looking for small game such as guinea fowls and meerkats.
Noordhoek is enclosed between Wetlands, the sea and the major mountains and accessible via the beautiful spectacular car route over Chapman’s Peak. The Cape Point route also has a great attraction for cyclists and mountain bikers, this coastal route is adventurous and has breathtaking views. The imposing nine-kilometer Chapman’s Peak with its 114 turns is one of the world’s most beautiful car routes. It has numerous picnic areas where you can enjoy this beauty undisturbed.
Noordhoek is therefore great for all kinds of activities on the coast. Go surfing, kite surfing, hiking, horse riding, walk to the Kakapo shipwreck that got stuck here in 1900 and enjoy delicious sundowners such as a delicious bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from the local wine state!
Cape Point Vineyard is of course also nice to go for a picnic with wine or enjoy a cheese plate and besides Sauvignon Blanc there are also other delicious wines to taste.
What could be better than watching the dolphins and whales from the beach in the spring and strolling through the 8-kilometer beach to the next village: Kommetjie. In addition, don’t forget to look at the beautiful flora of this region. In addition to its attractive value, the special Milkwood Forest also has a great attraction for birds, mice and baboons. These protected trees provide the animals with fruit and also give a milky latex that is used in traditional medication.
Noordhoek Farm Village is the place to provide the inner man with all kinds of delicacies that are available here in a pleasant atmosphere or to shop for a nice souvenir or t-shirt with funny text.

Just outside the village is the Silvermine Reserve where you can walk or mountain bike among the beautiful evergreen fynbos. Here is also the formidable Westlake golf course.

Hout Bay, Kommetjie, Scarborough and Fish Hoek are ‘just around the corner’.
