Hazyview

Hazyview is a small farming village on the Sabie River in the province of Mpumalanga and known for its banana industry and the perfect location for tourists visiting the Panorama Route and Kruger National Park.

The town of Hazyview owes its name to the mist on the Lowveld, which often covers the area especially in the summer. The village is situated in a beautiful landscape with ideal climate conditions for growing tropical fruit and semi-tropical fruit such as lychees, mangoes, all kinds of citrus fruits and also coffee. The spectacular view in and around Hazyview will ensure that it leaves you with a lasting memory!

In the nearby area to the east of Hazyview you will find numerous private game parks and 12 km away (Phabeni gate) is the world famous Kruger Park. Numbi Gate, another entrance to the Kruger National Park, is 16 km away.

There are numerous tourist attractions in and around Hazyview. From here you can visit the interesting and lively Shangana Cultural Village or take a balloon ride over the breathtaking valley. There are numerous mountain bike, hiking and 4×4 routes in the area and if you are thirsty afterwards, you can visit the local beer brewery.

From Hazyview it is a stone’s throw to beautiful natural wonders such as the Blyde River Canyon and Bourke’s Luck Potholes. The historic mining village of Pilgrim’s Rest is also worth a visit!
