Description of accommodation:

Thulamela consists of 6 timber cottages, each sleeping 2 people and over the years we’ve found a niche market for “celebration couples” – be it anniversaries, Honeymoons, proposals or just a special occasion breakaway.The spa on each deck is ideally suited for this! The cottages are stuck away in natural bush, and there is free-roaming plains game on the farm. There are a great number of birds, which suit the birders tremendously! We pride ourselves on excellent service with lots of small personal touches – handmade biscotti and natural soap, Belgian chocolates, fresh flowers and a healthy and wholesome (yet different!) breakfast, which we bring down to the guests. Penny is a Dietician, so she can cater for specific dietary needs. We are also ideally suited to overseas guests who would like to explore the Panorama area and Kruger National Park, and are 70km from the Mbombela FIFA stadium outside Nelspruit.

Description of surroundings:

The cottages are nestled in natural bush, on stilts and each cottage is private and secluded. An ideal breakaway spot, yet close enough to all the local scenic attractions. As one of South Africa’s Exclusive Bed and Breakfast destinations, guests are treated to a scrumptious deli-breakfast, at their cottage, consisting of fresh fruit and home-made cuisine. We regret no children under 16. Thulamela is An Intimate Place of Rest – a place where one can contemplate life, rejuvenate oneself and leave with a sense of tranquility and peace of mind.
