After an internship in Cape Town in 2006, I was also infected with the Africa virus and after a few years of making money in the Netherlands, I went to Africa again. This time for a tour through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia. During that trip I fell in love with a South African and after a long distance relationship of 2 years I quit my job as a physiotherapist and I have been living in Pretoria for a few years now. From here I do work behind the scenes for the ZAS website such as writing trips and informative texts. As soon as we have the chance, my friend and I go into the African bush to spot wildlife and enjoy nature. I like to incorporate my own experiences into the information on the website. There are still many places in Southern Africa that I would like to visit by car, motorcycle, bicycle or on foot.
